  1. ‘Movember’ Contest: The judges (JoAnn Brown; Jack Frost; Harvey Kelley) selected the following winners: 1st place – Gene Pellerano; 2nd place – Scott Kimball; 3rd place – Dave Wells; honorable mention – Danny Ray………….. All the proceeds from the Movember Contest are donated to the Northern Light Urology Department for the benefit of men’s health.

Program/Speaker: Winnie Chan, co-owner of the China Hill Restaurant and native of Hong Kong shared her experiences growing up in Hong Kong and her journey to America which started in 1979 in Utah and has continued for the last 25 years in Ellsworth, Maine.
Winnie shared how she likes the ‘small town’ atmosphere here in Maine and has enjoyed hosting the Rotary Club and appreciates all the good it does in the community and world.
Winnie also shared her perspective on the challenges her native Hong Kong is currently facing. She also shared that her family still living in Honk Kong are safe and that she is hopeful for positive long term solutions for Hong Kong and especially the youthful citizens.
Winnie returns to Hong Kong every couple of years to connect with family members and visit her homeland.
