Blood Drive: The Blood Drive is the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Please sign up for the month of November and December.  Max Dietshe thanks everyone for their continued help.
 
Loaves and Fishes Food Drive: Saturday, November 20th at Ellsworth Hannaford. A sign-up sheet has been around to sign up. Shifts are 9-11am, 11-1pm, 1-3pm the last shift stops at 2pm then follows the van back to the pantry to unload. Contact Jodie Cushing.
 
Downtown Ellsworth Christmas Parade: Our club will be in the Christmas Parade again this year escorting Santa! If you would like help out, please let Jodie Cushing know. The event is Saturday, December 4th at 11:00am.
 
Gifting Experience: Jack Frost and Carl Lusby are encouraging donations from Businesses and Club Members for this year’s Gifting Experience. A sponsor form has been emailed.
 
KidsPeace Christmas Presents: Rebecca Greenlaw has info for those who would like to start shopping for Christmas presents for Kids at KidsPeace. We plan to wrap all presents at our Holiday Party in December.
 
Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry for December: Our club will be helping at the Food Pantry on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the month of December. Jodie Cushing will be sending out a sign-up sheet.
 
Haven’s Sweet Rotary Fundraiser: Our club is partnering with Haven’s Candies in Scarborough Maine to help raise money for the club.  Haven's Candies has generously agreed to donate 20% of all Ellsworth Rotary Club sales back to the Club. All orders placed between now and December 14, 2021 will qualify the club for a 20% donation. An email was sent out with more info. 
 
Rotary Spotlight: Contact JoAnn Brown to sign up for the Rotary Spotlight on our Social Media pages. You send her a picture of yourself with information on why you join Rotary and it will be posted online.
 
“I AM ROTARY” signs and bumper stickers are available. Please display the sign at your office, when you’re out volunteering or at home! Please place the Bumper Sticker on your vehicle. We are hoping to see these in our community to get the word out about Rotary!

Movember: It’s time for the Annual Movember Challenge for Men’s Health. $20 donations. Men grow facial hair and women to have a fake beard or mustache. All donations go towards MCMH. Contact Dave Wells to become a sponsor!

Guest Speaker: Our guest speakers were Caroline King and David Brown. Caroline is the Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Northern and Eastern Maine.
 
Caroline has been this district's executive director since 2015 and is a proud Rotarian from the Bangor Breakfast Rotary Club having recently served as its President from 2020-2021.  Her presentation focused on the American Red Cross as a humanitarian organization that prevents and alleviates human suffering around the corner, across the country, and around the world.
 
Volunteers are needed! Help out at a local blood drive, give blood or donate.  The Red Cross thanks our club for our ongoing partnership!
