Laura joined the Rotary Club of Ellsworth in 2002 at the encouragement of Ann Gibson. Laura has served on the membership committee and various other committees throughout the years.
She is currently serving as the President for 2020-2021 and is focusing on keeping the club relevant & vibrant during our COVID-19 gathering restrictions.
Laura has always enjoyed the community service projects and the outreach of volunteerism that is the hallmark of Rotary. From volunteering for Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry throughout the years to multiple wheelchair projects, there is a great “Rotary Moment” when you realize you have made a difference in the lives of others no matter how small an impact.
Laura is married for 40 plus years to Gene Pellerano (incoming president) with two adult children. Addison who is a Navy pilot and Allegra , a member of our club. Gene & Laura reside in Surry with their British cars and two Dalmatians Jazz & Luna.
