Jack joined the Rotary Club twenty years ago.  Ellsworth High School Principal Lee Beal encouraged him to join and he never looked back.  Jack’s first assignment was helping to support the annual Pancake Breakfast which was then held under a tent at Ellsworth’s City Hall.  He went on to serve as Treasurer for several years and became Club president in 2008-2009.  Jack was very proud to join the international wheelchair project when the Club partnered with the Bar Harbor Club to distribute chairs in Belize and his daughter Abigail participated as a 2016 high school senior.  The Rotary Club of Ellsworth granted a Paul Harris Fellow to Jack in 2009.
