On Tuesday, May 4th at 6 PM, our club had a virtual meeting over the telephone and internet via Zoom. President Laura Pellerano started the meeting.

Guest Speaker: Wendie Winslow, author of her first novel, “The Northern Reach,” published in March of 2021 by Flatiron Books. Wendie was born and raised in Maine but spent much of her working life in New York and San Francisco in corporate communications and marketing. A ninth generation Mainer, she now lives most of the year in Trenton, Maine.
Wendie spoke about her book. It is a breathtaking debut about the complexity of family, the cultural legacy of place, and the people and experiences that shape us. Wendie described how she got her ideas and the process of getting a book published.
