  6. Rotary Wheelchair Update: The Panama Rotary Club mailed a progress report to our club but the report has not yet been received. The slow distribution of wheelchairs continues because of the Covid 19 lockdown resulting in limited time allowed for distribute.
The Panama Club is also volunteering at the Covid vaccination process in Panama City and the surrounding area. At the vaccination sites in the poorer communities, President Ricardo Gago explained that some of the people receiving the vaccination had wheelchairs that were in a very bad condition or worn out.  Ricardo also explained that these wheelchair bound people have little chance of getting repairs or parts that are needed to keep their wheelchairs functioning. Ken and Dave agreed that this would be a great opportunity to exchange worn out wheelchairs for new.

Guest Speaker: This week’s guest speaker was Aaron Bolster.  Aaron is a Designated Broker and President of Allied Realty.

A native of Maine, he is as excited today as the first day of his career to work in the real estate industry!  Over the decades, this lifestyle has taught him that relationships are the very most important part of his journey.  His wife Melissa has supported him through the hills and valleys of getting licensed in 2000, purchasing Allied Realty in 2008, and opening additional offices in Central and Western Maine.

In 2013, Aaron was the president of Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors.  Now in 2021 he is the President for the Maine Association of Realtors that represents 5,500 members statewide.
