Opening Ceremonies: President Tracy Shaffer called the meeting to order. Our invocation was given by Laurie Fogelman and we said the Pledge of Allegiance. The Greeter was Grace Robinson and the Well Wisher at the end of our meeting was Marian Wells. Julie and Tony Bouchard served as Sargent At Arms.

50/50: $17 went to Irv Hodgkin who donated most of it back for the cause. Happy Dollars this quarter will go to the Allan Fitch Fund at The Grand.  

Happy Dollars: Scott Kimball was happy about the completion of the playground project for Special Children’s Friends and that if we have our health we are fortunate, Marian and David Wells and Lincoln Ehrlenbach were happy for the successful completion of the Dominican Republic wheelchair project with 420 chairs distributed to those in need. Many members were happy for the safe return of our wheelchair team and also for Tracy’s year as President of the club and for a successful coming year under Jo Cooper’s leadership. Gracie Robinson was happy that her mom, Jodie Cushing, is getting better after knee surgery. Jim Vickers noted that his daughter had passed away at the age of 59 but a new great grandson has been born.
 
Rotary Business: New Greeter and Well Wisher lists for the first quarter were passed around for signup. Volunteers are needed by the Heart of Ellsworth for the big downtown event on Saturday and also by the Bar Harbor/MDI Club on July 4 from 6 am to 2 pm for their breakfast and lobster dinner.
 
Program: Final officer reports were provided.

We held 43 meetings this year, not including tonight. Our attendance percentage, including makeups for the year is: 66.51%. Nine club members were presented with Perfect Attendance Certificates. Several members were presented with pin tabs to recognize their years in Rotary including Larry Barnes for 35 years and Larry Johnston for 30 years.
Treasurer: We ended the current year with a net profit of about $4,397. Cash on hand is $22,907.68. Wheelchair project funds available to match District grants are a little over $3,000. Happy Dollars for this quarter so far are $557.
Club Service: Jane Langley, Director for the past two years, noted that she has tried to provide a varied program list meant to inform and educate, to stretch our minds, and provide enjoyment.
Tracy Shaffer presented certificates of recognition and tokens of appreciation to many members for their contributions this year.
 
Tracy, with support from Lincoln and Dave Wells, then installed Jo Cooper as President for our 2019-2020 Rotary year. Jo introduced and installed the new slate of officers and directors for the year:
