Rotary Business:

Pancake Breakfast:  Lincoln Ehrlenbach updated the club on the status of planning the breakfast.  He encouraged all Rotarians to purchase tickets and donate them to business colleagues, family, friends or donate them to the club for Downeast Horizon’s consumers.  On Sunday, July 31st at 7:30 am a banner will be hung across Main Street if anyone would like to help.  On Friday, August 5th at 1:00 pm all able-bodied Rotarians are asked to meet at U-Haul Storage on 1A to help transport grills and other equipment to the tent at the YMCA.  We need to have all grills set up before 3:30 as that is when Dead River will be there to hookup the bulk tank to the larger grills.  Remember all hands-on deck Saturday, August 6th at 6:00 am.

Community Service:  Max Dietshe reported that the Maine Coast Hospital is seeking volunteers for the Schoodic Scramble in September.  More details to come.  As always opportunities to volunteer from noon to 6:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays at the Red Cross Blood Drive are available.

Partner Program:  Debbie Ehrlenbach updated the members on the status of the program.  Letters were mailed to area businesses last week.  Business partners who donated last year were send 2 complimentary tickets to the upcoming pancake breakfast.  Partner letters will be sent to Rotarians in August.

Pancake Trivia Game:  A Pancake trivia game was played on Kahoot and “old school”.  The winners of the game were Benadetta Pellerano and Lori Googins.  Each won a Rotary apron.
During the meeting club members wrapped 1,000 silverware servings for the upcoming breakfast.  Lots of great conversation and fun was had by all.  Debbie Ehrlenbach made blueberry cake for all to enjoy.
