President Jo Cooper called the meeting to order at 6 PM. The invocation was offered by Jackie Sinclair and we said the Pledge of Allegiance.
  
Those helping with tonight’s meeting:  Greeter – Marc Rich, Notes – Tracy Shaffer, Sargent at Arms – Tony  Bouchard.
 
Club Secretary Clyde Cushing announced the following birthday’s:  JoAnn Brown and Pam Cushing.
 
Guests this evening included Grace Robinson and prospective member Rhonda Parker for her second club visit.
 
Door prizes went to Marc Rich, Ray Williams, Iris Simon and Carl Lusby.  The 50/50 drawing for $8 was won by David Wells who donated the proceeds back to our Happy Dollar quarterly project.
 
Our Happy Dollar project this quarter is the Pack a Bag (children’s toys and supplies) initiative that will supplement our 2020 wheelchair project.  Those giving Happy Dollars this evening included David, Marian, Marc, Jackie, Scott, Laura, Carl, Ruth and Iris.
 
Rotary Business:
  1. Community Service Director Marc Rich passed around a sign up sheet for Everybody Eats! March evening volunteers. 
  2. David Wells provided an update on the 2020 wheelchair project.  In summary, the wheelchair deployment will be taking place this coming fall.  More information to come as details are finalized.
  3. Laura reminded everyone that the auction will be May 8.  Please mark your calendar to attend and help. Other details:  It will be at Darling’s Auto Mall and we are pleased and very grateful to have Bar Harbor Bank and Trust return once again as one of our major sponsors. Please let Laura know of any catering suggestions and please feel free to attend the auction committee next Tuesday at 4:30 PM at China Hill.
  4. President Jo gave updates on two of our members facing recovery time due to accidents - our thoughts continue to be with Julie Bouchard and Irv Hodgkin as they heal.
Program/Speaker: Members were thrilled to welcome Rotary Professor Carl Lusby to the podium to host a Rotary themed Jeopardy game, quizzing our knowledge of our club, the district, Rotary International history, Rotary Foundation history and various miscellaneous Rotary questions.  We refreshed our memories and learned a great deal in a fun way.  Thank you, Past President Carl, for a wonderful evening!
