We had a successful Zoom meeting this week with guest speaker Janna Richards, Economic Development Director for the City of Ellsworth.
On Tuesday, April 21st at 6 PM, our club had a virtual meeting over the telephone and internet via Zoom.
Invocation was sent in by Rob Hemenway and read for Jo Cooper.
The pledge was led by Carl Lusby, Ashley Johnson took notes and Tony and Julie Bouchard took attendance.

Checking In/Happy Dollars: Jo Cooper started the meeting by asking each person to give a recap of how they were doing. We heard from Ashley Johnson, Dan Frye, Marian and Dave Wells, Clyde Cushing, Pam Cushing, Jodie Cushing, Grace, Tony and Julie Bouchard, Scott Kimball, Lincoln and Debbie Ehrlenbach, Allegra Pellerano, Fred Beyer, Iris Simon, Gene Pellerano, Rod Fox, Jack Frost, Tracy Shaffer, Dave Wells, Laura Pellerano , Jane Langley , Linda Fuller and Carl Lusby.
All Happy Dollars goes towards Everybody Eats this quarter.
Rotary Business:
- Jo Cooper stated she and Dave Wells were part of a Zoom meeting with the District. 30 Clubs were part of the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to talk about what other clubs are doing during COVID-19 , how they are fundraising, how they are helping the Community, etc.
- Jo reminded everyone to please reach out and contact any fellow Rotarian to stay in touch with those who have not been part of the weekly Zoom meetings.
Guest Speaker: Tonight’s guest speaker was Janna Richards. Janna is the Economic Development Director for the City of Ellsworth. The Ellsworth Economic Development Office provides information and assistance to businesses considering starting, relocating or expanding in Ellsworth.
Janna shared with us tonight about how the City is helping and supporting local businesses. The City plans on calling all businesses to check in and see how they are doing during this time, what their challenges are, what they need to recover. She shared with us the below information:
