The Rotary Craft Fair/ Yard sale was on Saturday, March 25th at the Ellsworth Elementary Middle School from 9am-2pm. Over 70 different vendors attended. Thank you to Rotarian Jodie Cushing for organizing this event!

Due to the impending storm, the meeting for February 28th has been cancelled. We hope to see everyone next week on Tuesday, March 7th.

Check presentation with Rotarian Jodie Cushing, Dr. Califano (Urology-Maine Coast) and Alicia Handy (Urology-Maine Coast) from the club's Movember fundraiser.
This week club members enjoyed the Annual Holiday Party! Everyone had fun playing games, participated in the Ugly Christmas Sweater contest, the Yankee Gift Card Swap and wrapped presents for KidsPeace.

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The next club meeting will be Tuesday, January 3rd at China Hill at 6:00pm.

On Saturday November 19th the Rotary Club of Ellsworth held its annual food drive for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. This year the club added  "The Ton of Turkey Challenge" - asking community members to donate a turkey to the challenge.  The food drive was a complete success, receiving $2,078.34 in cash donations and 210 Turkeys total!

From now through Thanksgiving, the club is looking for help collecting 134 frozen turkeys for families served by the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. Frozen chickens are also welcome. For the purpose of the challenge goal, two frozen chickens equal one frozen turkey.

Turkeys may be dropped off at the pantry at 137 Downeast Highway. Hours are Monday 9:30 a.m. to noon, Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 4-6:30 p.m. and Friday 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Frozen birds may also be dropped off at Rotary’s Tuesday night meetings through Nov. 15. The club meets at China Hill at 6 p.m. Financial contributions may be made at https://www.loavesandfishesellsworth.org/donate.
