Program/Speaker:
Chief Pete Bickmore from the Ellsworth Police Department was our speaker this week. The Chief told us about Project Hope, the department's program to assist those with drug abuse issues who are ready to seek help. He spoke about the need for volunteers and donations and noted that the first client came into the department on Tuesday, the first intake day. Tonight was our first meeting at our new home at the General Bryant E. Moore Community & Conference Center.
