Terri, Charlene, Laurie, Chris Coleman, Clyde, Tracy, Debbie Ehrlenbach, Lincoln,  and Carl with $26.50 honoring Arch Klumpf. Andrea Mason was sad to be leaving for the winter months.

Rotary Business: Marian discussed the Membership night on 1 Nov. Polio Purple Pinky Oct 22 at Pat's Pizza  and 25th at Blood Drive. Dave reminded of the Movember contest to support the MCMH men's health effort and spoke about the THAW Fund 50/50 benefit contest for the 1st School closing this winter. Tracy talked about HCTC night of 18 Oct.

 Program/Speaker: Tracy thanked Carl, Peter and Amy Boles for their assistance in planning and setting up the room this evening, and she thanked Alex of Big Cats for the delicious buffet. Bill Dove was introduced as the first guest speaker. He spent 32 years in education and said that teaching was a way of life and a calling. Chris Coleman was introduced as the second speaker . He has spent 25 years in law enforcement with the State Police and is currently teaching at MMA in Castine. He spoke about professionalism, ethics and the Four Way Test in police work.

 
Avery Jester is a senior at EHS and participating in the Law Enforcement program at HCTC.
Bailey Beers is a first year student in the Early Childhood Development program at HCTC. Both students were recognized for their exceptional standards and scholarship, Avery by her HCTC supervisor, Scott Ballangeor, and Bailey  Beers by Meghan Stubbs, her HCTC supervisor.
This is the 10th year Rotary has partnered with HCTC to recognize outstanding students in each of their programs. Each student was presented with a certificate of honor by HCTC, a HCTC/Rotary 
T-shirt and $25 in Chamber Bucks.
 
The meeting concluded with gracious thanks from Tracy Shaffer, Rotary Director of Vocational Service, to all who attended and helped with the program.
