Opening Ceremonies: President Elect Scott Kimball called the meeting to order. The invocation was given by Ray Williams and we said the Pledge of Allegiance. The greeter was Tony Bouchard.

Foundation Minute: Scott spoke about Rotary’s work around the world particularly to eradicate polio.
 
Rotary Minute: Jo Cooper spoke about the meaning of Rotary and service and the way this club responds to requests for help.
 
Door Prizes: Dead River Calendar and home-made jam, won by David Edsall; champagne won JoAnn Brown, chocolates and a Hannaford bag won by Bruce Fischer; bottle of wine won by Commissioner Mary Mayhew;

50/50: $ 13 was won and donated to the cause by Julie Bouchard. This quarter Happy Dollars are going to FIA Senior Center Financial Fund.

Rotary Business:
Scott Kimball presented the check for $741 from Happy Dollars last quarter to Ellsworth Interim Police Chief Glenn Moshier and Detective Dottie Small. They both spoke about the program and how 9 people have been referred to rehab around the country.
 
Heidi Omlor introduced three high school students, Danielle White, Richie Matthews, and Keith Jordan, from the National Honor Society who are raising funds and collecting items to assist Syrian refugees; they asked for help with the project.
 
Program:
Jo Cooper introduced Department of Human Services Commissioner Mary Mayhew who spoke about the work of the department and some of the ways she has improved its budget.
