Loaves & Fishes Pie Booth at the Blue Hill Fair, Thursday, September 1 - Saturday, September 3. We need folks to staff the booth and we also need pie bakers (fruit pies and anything that doesn't need refrigeration). Volunteers should wear their Rotary shirts and enter through the Green gate. If you volunteer, you get free admission! Sign up here.

Rotarians are welcome to sign-up to help with this community event.Volunteer options are to help pass out water at a water station, help with parking or direct runners and walkers on the race route. 

Volunteer hours will be from 8:00am to 11:00am.

All you can eat Blueberry Pancake Breakfast!
$9 for Adults and $5 for Kids 12 and Under.
Money raised will go towards Scholarships to local graduates of Ellsworth High School and Hancock County Technical Center

Tuesday, October 11^th at Union River Lobster Pot in Ellsworth.  Please sign up to RSVP and you guest to JoAnn asap! Invitations, menu and program were emailed last week. $15 per person and please pre-pay next week to Bob and Mary Thomas.

     The Rotary Club of Ellsworth will hold their Annual Polio Walk in recognition of World Polio Day on Saturday, October 22nd at 9:00am. All walkers will meet at Knowlton Park.  We will proceed down State Street to the lower light on Main Street, walk up Main Street to School Street and return to Knowlton Park.  A $20 donation is suggested to participate.  Bring your family and friends along to help raise money to eradicate polio.  Dogs are also welcome.  Funds raised will go toward Rotary International’s End Polio Now efforts.

The celebration takes place during the week of October 24th with activities that are intended to raise awareness of Rotary International’s efforts to eradicate polio worldwide and to raise money -- $1 at a time –toward this global effort. 
 If you are unable to attend, please consider mailing in your donation to PO Box 741 Ellsworth, ME  04605.  All checks should be made payable to the Rotary Club of Ellsworth.

Trunk or Treat is October 29^th at 4pm at the Ellsworth YMCA. All are invited to attend and dress up! Our theme is “Western” We are looking for a wagon wheel, hay and other western decorations. Please contact Jodie Cushing!

The Ellsworth Downtown Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 3^rd at 4:00pm. New this year is late afternoon and to celebrate with lighted floats! The theme is “Christmas at the Movies” All Rotarians are invited to attend to help out!
