Wheelchairs for Belize

 
Rotary Club of Ellsworth and Rotary Club of Bar Harbor are sending a team to Belize on March 1st. The purpose of the mission is to distribute 126 wheelchairs to those in need of mobility. With the help of local clubs in Belize, we will distribute wheelchairs in Belize City, San Ignacio, Belmopan, and outlying areas over three full days. This mission is a multi-national humanitarian initiative with support from 10 Rotary Clubs, representing 4 Rotary Districts.
Another way we are making a difference is by donating backpacks, pencils, school items, and deflated soccer balls to local school children in Belize.
