Happy Dollars Highlights: Iris Simon was happy to talk about the Indian Pt. clean-up, Bruce Fisher was happy to visit with his grandchildren in Vermont, Doug Kell was 420 happy, Larry Johnson was $5 happy to have his son as a guest Rotarian, Jo Cooper was happy to be having cataract surgery. Lincoln Ehrlenbach was happy to ask the club to send Aaron well-wishes and prayers before his next surgery. Also happy were Jane Langley, Tracy Schaffer, Carl Lusby and Marshall Smith.
 
Rotary Business: We received and auction update for Scott Kimball and Charlene Churchill received her Paul Harris “Plus One” pin.
 
Program: Linda Henderson and Sarah Rausch spoke to us about Special Children’s Friends. Special Children’s Friends is embarking on a Capital Campaign to raise $150,000 to help fund a 42’x42′ addition to the current Ellsworth facility.  The new facility will house two additional classrooms, a gross motor therapy room, and two handicapped accessible restrooms.  The estimated cost of the project is $332,000, and SCF will commit the remaining amount needed through organizational funds.
